Light Rolls

Hi everyone, today I prepare “Light Rolls” for you 😉


Ingredients for 4 rolls :58695d50829c11e38c0212593dc6f86c_6

♦ 150g of minced turkey or chicken or beef

♦ White cabbage

♦ carrots

♦ zucchini

♦ bean sprouts

♦ half a teaspoon of ginger

♦ half a teaspoon of turmeric

♦ onion

♦ soy sauce or tamari (enought to taste)

♦ 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil


1 . Wash and cut into thin strips: carrots, zucchini and cabbage.

2 . Warm thecoconut oil in a wok with onion, ginger and turmeric. When the onion has softened a bit add the meat and continue cooking, add the carrots and zucchini and fry for 2min; add the cabbage and bean sprouts and blow up everything on a high flame. If you like the vegetables to get softner, lower the heat and cover with a lid and cook for 5 min stirring occasionally. Remove the lid, raise the heat and sprinkle with soy sauce. Continue cooking until everything is well blended and until the soy sauce has been absorbed.

3 . Prepare the rolls. Take the sheets of rice and soak them in hot water for 5 seconds, lay them on a shelf and pour 1-2 tablespoons of the filling on the dough of rice, close the rolls following the pattern on the package.


4. Place the rolls in a pan lined with baking paper (if you want you can smudge the parchment paper with coconut oil) and continue cooking in the oven for about 15minutes at 150° or at least until they get crispy… They can also be steamed!!!

This was my lunch today… instead of rice cakes I decided to try these sheets of rice. Making a comparison of calories and nutrients I noticed that the same weight of rice sheets have less carbohydrates and less fat then the rice cakes.  😉
