Fancy a hot chocolate without feeling guilty ? … Yes…You can !
This secret has been revealed to me by my blogger friend Rossella, a few months ago! And I tell you…I can not go to sleep without it!
Here you are!
- 1 scoop casein protein ( 20/30gr . depending on your needs )
- 1 teaspoon of peanut butter
- Water or skim milk to taste ( I personally prefer the water )
In a shaker , add 30 grams of casein protein chocolate . Pour water or milk as needed (consider that the casein proteins are very dense , they require an amount of water greater than the whey). Shake well! Pour the mixture into your favorite mug and microwave for a few minutes, being careful that the mixture does not spill out from the cup.
Relax and enjoy it…! Add cinnamon if you like
The casein proteins are slow release and are recommended before going to sleep just to avoid incurring the dreaded catabolism due to an overnight fast .
My advice is to have, also 2 slices of wholemeal bread!
