When my mother isn’t at home and I have my kitchen all for me, my first thought is: “OK, Let’s try a new recipe!”.
I love cooking, to try new recipes, invent and find healthier alternatives to classic recipes. Today I decided to try making mini chocolate pies and I have to say that even if this is my first time I managed it very well: they look fantastic and also the taste…so yummy!!! .. or at least this what my friends say as i can not taste them. In this time of the year I am very focused on my goals (I am working hard for a bikini contest) so I can not have many ” cheat meals”!
These pies are made with isolated protein powder. They can be eaten at breakfast (if you have little time in the morning or I advice to prepare them the night before) or even as a snack .
Ingredients for 1 serving (2 pies):
♦ 40g oat flour
♦ 30g protein powder chocolate flavor
♦ 1 banana
♦ water
♦ 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
♦ 2 drops of sweetener
♦ 1 /2 teaspoon baking powder
♦ 1 white egg
Procedure
1 . In a bowl, put all ingredients except the water and mix with the blender. Add the water slowly, and mix well until it gets homogeneous (pay attention to the amount of water because it should not be too liquid!) .
2 . Pour the mixture into two small ramekins of aluminum
3. Bake at 120-130°C for about 20 min. To check if they are cooked just stick a toothpick in them. If the toothpick looks dry that means that the pies are ready! Let them to cool down without removing from the ramekins .
4 . When they are cool, remove them from the ramekins and dust with cocoa powder or cinnamon.
